Services

The majority of the clients that we serve are referred to us by former clients or a trusted professional. We also receive referrals from specific insurance companies. Each client receives an individualized care plan with clear goals. Our services are based upon the latest research evidence and all our staff receive continuous professional education.

Individual Therapy

People of all ages benefit from gaining a deeper understanding of how their emotional distress may reflect unmet needs and blocked goals. We help you understand your family legacy yet grow on your own.

Marriage Counseling

Many of our staff have extensive experience with couples therapy. Our approach is based upon the latest research in order to improve communication, conflict resolution skills, and intimacy. We also work with individuals in committed relationships.

Parent Education

We offer education on temperament, learning styles, emotional expression, social development and behavior management to parents, grandparents and other caregivers. We also provide consultation on how specific life events, such as divorce, remarriage, or death, affect children.

Senior Assessment and Care

Family and caregivers frequently struggle to understand the issues and stresses faced by seniors and to identify services available to assist them.  Family Psychology Associates can help families cope with personal concerns, identify resources and determine how best to secure services to meet the needs of their loved ones.

Family Therapy

Children often respond best when parents, siblings and other relatives participate in counseling. We encourage the healing power of the family to help children and adolescents develop.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is available for children, adolescents and adults. Some groups are offered to help develop specific coping skills, while others are designed to help clients learn the benefits of sharing their experiences with others.

Psychological Assessment

Some clients are referred to us for psychological assessment. Testing could include intellectual, learning, personality or vocational instruments. We also may recommend testing to help individualize your treatment plan. Couples may also benefit from tests to clarify their goals.
