Our History
Founded in 1992, Family Psychology Associates is one of the leading group mental health practices in the Tampa Bay area. Our mission is to bring the benefits of positive psychology to your home, family and business. We have office staff on-duty to assist you in person or via phone during all our office hours. Our professional staff are all licensed mental health practitioners who utilize weekly staff meetings for case consultations and research reviews. Our staff have pursued extensive post-graduate training in marriage counseling, trauma recovery, the relationship between physical and mental health, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and AD/HD.

New Staff:
Kimberly Church, Psy.D., BCBA is now accepting Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Dr. Church is both a Licensed Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She provides group therapy, family therapy and parent training.
Stacy Carmichael, Ph.D. specializes in the evaluation and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, AD/HD and learning disorders. Dr. Carmichael works with preschoolers, children, adolescents and adults.
Nyamekye Laird, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist who works with children, adolescents and families. She is leading a group for teenage girls and a parenting seminar on internet awareness.
